The Light to Light Walking track, on the south coast of NSW was a great way to experience this stunning coastline. We did it with Sapphire Coast Guiding Co. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the flora and fauna, indigenous history and on Boyd - a big shaper in this region - with a very tarnished history. You can stay at the Lighthouse - so independent walking also an option, but we loved the pampering, great food and insight into the history and natural history of this part of the coast. Whales all day every day - they were singing and playing as they travelled south with their young.

Le Bons Bay is one of the hidden gems on Banks Peninsula. It has that magical mix of a river and sea. The backdrop to the river and beach is a block of land with great patches of bush. What a great idea to buy this land for conservation and the public. Great article by Will Harvie in the The Press - do support this effort - another win for nature

Remember Buy the Hill? New campaign to preserve slice of Le Bons Bay

In a little bay on Banks Peninsula is a 39-hectare slice of paradise that might just be a conservation gem.
